Obituary of Susie Eldridge

Susie Arabella Eldridge, 88, of Effort and formerly of Phillisburg, NJ until two years ago, died Wednesday, July 20 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Jacob Eldridge. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Laura (Fine) Stone. Susie was a homemaker who was always very involved with her family. She is survived by two grandchildren, Carolyn Hennion and Jason Eldridge of Long Pond; two step grandchildren, Dorothy Rhodes of Pocono Lake and Charlene Ayers of Blakeslee; six great grandchildren, Seth and Kylie Hennion, Frederick Huyck, Andrea Ayers, and Koty and Ashley Rhodes. In addition to her husband, Jacob, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jack A. and Thomas D. Eldridge. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
