Obituary of Peter Ranalli

Peter Ranalli, 50, of Long Pond, died Friday, October 2 at home. He was the husband of Lynn (Craven) Ranalli. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Anthony Ranalli of N.J. and the late Betty (Mastropolo) Ranalli-DeGennaro. Peter enjoyed woodworking and camping. He also liked to listen to and play oldies music as a D.J. and attend antique and classic car shows. He owned a 1957 Chevrolet and a 1962 Cadillac. In addition to his wife, Lynn, Peter is survived by two daughters: Christina Gary and Christian MacDowell of Long Pond, Candice Ranalli of Scotrun; brothers: Raymond Ranalli and his wife Stephanie of Putnam Valley, NY, David Ranalli and his wife Tracey of Yonkers, NY and John Nola of East Stroudsburg; five grandchildren: Rebecca and Brian Gary, Tyler Smiley, Jaiden Ranalli and BrookLynn MacDowell; his cousin Lucille Gambardella of Allentown, who was like a sister to him; eight nieces, four nephews and his lifelong friends from Yonkers "The Garage Wolfs" and many other friends and family. There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 8 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a blessing service at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
