Obituary of Natividad Roque

Natividad Roque, 83, of East Stroudsburg, died on January 29, at home. She was the wife of the late Sebastian Roque. Born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Guadalupe and Pilar (Ocasio) Marrero. Natividad was a resident of the Poconos for the past twelve years. She is survived by two daughters, Maria Roque-Hernandez and her husband, Carlos of East Stroudsburg, Violet Rios and her husband Edward of Budd Lakes, NJ; a brother, Efrain Marrero of Puerto Rico; eight grandsons, seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Sunday, February 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father David Cramer will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2 at St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
