Obituary of Alice Fogel

Alice M. Fogel, 72, of Pocono Lake, passed away on Saturday, October 11, under the care of her daughter, Margaret Martin. She was the wife of the late Clarence Fogel to whom she was married for 33 years. Born in Pocono Lake, she was the daughter of the late David and Mabel (Wolbert) Stout. In addition to being the care taker of Trout Lake Retreat in Stroudsburg for many years, she was also employed at Keiper's Laundry and Dunkin' Donuts. She is survived by eight children; Mary Silvoy and her husband, Thomas of Bethlehem, Francis Martin, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Appenzell, David Martin and his wife, Yvonne of Appenzell, Ann Singer and her husband, Kurt of Stroudsburg; Margaret Martin of Pocono Lake; James Martin and his wife, Anita of Canadensis, Ronald Martin and his wife, Carol of Wilkes-Barre, Tammy Buccilli and her husband, Tony of Nesquehoning; one brother, Clifford Stout of Pocono Lake; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. The Reverend Wayne Kaufmann will conduct a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 16 at the Pocono Lake Cemetery in Pocono Lake. Cremation services were entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory in Paradise Valley.
