Obituary of Hannah Hughes

Hannah D. Hughes, 59, of Mansfield, Texas and formerly of East Stroudsburg, died Tuesday, November 15 at home. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of late Mary E. Van Buskirk. Before her illness, Hannah was employed at Laird Technologies in Delaware Water Gap. She was a member of the Salvation Army of East Stroudsburg. She is survived by a son, Edward G. Hughes and his wife, Kelli of Mansfield; two daughters, Wanda K. Kelly of Pocono Lake, Rebecca Hughes of Mansfield, Texas; five grandchildren, Heather N. Grove of East Berlin, Cody A. Shafer, Ryan P. Hughes, Alyssa R. Hughes, Lindsey M. Hughes, all of Mansfield, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, William K. Custred. The Reverend John Charnock will conduct a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Interment of ashes will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg. Friends and relatives may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
