Obituary of Joseph Lanusse
Joseph Michael Lanusse, 27, of Swiftwater died Friday, July 22, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem.
Born in East Stroudsburg he was the son of Michael P. Lanusse and the late Sharon L. Costanzo. Joseph worked as a cook at Red Lobster. He was a huge sports fan, but most of all was a number one fan of the New York Yankees. When he wasn't keeping up with the latest on sports he enjoyed working with computers and playing video games. Joseph was known for his genuine and caring attitude and was always there for whoever needed him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his father Michael, he is survived by a sister; Rebecca Murphy of Tannersville, two brothers; Kevin M. Lanusse and Wesley A. Lanusse both of Tannersville, an aunt: Beverly Schane of Mt. Pocono, four uncles; Ralph Costanza of Quakertown, Henry J. Lanusse of Neptune, NJ, Joseph A. Lanusse of Albany, NY, Jeffrey B. Whitcough of Boulder, CO, a great- aunt; Joanne Burke of Sterling, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his mother Sharon, he is predeceased by his aunt Connie Luczyszyn and his uncle Wally Costanzo.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 28 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, July 29 from 9-11 a.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. Pastor George Alt will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
