Obituary of James Fitzpatrick

James Joseph Fitzpatrick, 79, of Tobyhanna, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 12 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Regina (Albrecht) Fitzpatrick. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Daniel and Genevieve (Dahl) Fitzpatrick. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he served during World War II. In addition to his wife, Regina, he is survived by five sons, Paul Kidney of Williamsburg, Virgina, Robert Kidney of Daytona Beach, Florida, Stephen Kidney of Tobyhanna, Thomas Kidney of Brooklyn, New York, and Jamie Fitzpatrick of Boyton Beach, Florida; three daughters, Barbara Ulasinski of Brooklyn, New York, Evelyn Kasieta of Hurley, Wisconsin, Jean Marie Fitzpatrick-Tanner of Tobyhanna; one sister, Lorraine Fitzpatrick of Utah; twelve grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Reverend Father Will Comellas and Reverend Father Ron Hughes will concelebrate a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 14 at St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna.
