Obituary of Nicholas Kiely

Nicholas C. (Kane) Kiely, 21, of Myrtle Beach and formerly of Thornhurst, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 4 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Ronald J. Kiely and Mary (Keaveny) Kiely. He was a 2002 graduate of Pocono Mountain High School. Nicholas was employed as a cement mason in the construction business. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two cousins, Christina and Billy Sloup and an aunt, Mary. The Reverend Anthony Urban will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 9 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Thornhurst. Cremation will follow the mass. There will be a viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Pennsylvania, 124 Washington Square, 2570 Blvd. of the Generals, Norristown, Pa. 19403
