Obituary of Lauren Emilie

Lauren Ashley Emilie, 16, of Mt. Pocono, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 3 at home. She was the daughter of Ronald and Sherry (Snyder) Emilie. Lauren was an honor student in her junior year at Pocono Mountain East High School. She loved art, journalism, photography, and was a member of the Yearbook committee. Lauren was also an avid skier. In addition to her parents, Ron and Sherry, she is survived by a brother, Mason Emilie and a sister, Melissa Emilie, both of Mt. Pocono; grandparents, Michael and Nancy Snyder of Swifwater, Ron and Lynne Emilie of Mt. Pocono, Pam and Ray Neary of Doylestown; great grandparents, Frank and Lulu Snyder of Tannersville, Edna Caulfield of Mt. Pocono, Ralph Vernacchio of Raritan, NJ; aunts and uncles, Joseph and Jennifer Wieber, Jim and Heather Emilie, Kiera Emilie, Dylan Yerkes, Jim and Jenny Siegfried; several cousins and many friends. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 6 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Funeral service and burial will be private.
