Obituary of Renee Kraft
The Lord reached out his hands and welcomed Renee Annette Kraft, 56, into His Heavenly Kingdom on July 30, 2011. Annette's dignity and courage during her incurable illness of nearly three years have been an inspiration to all who knew her.
Born on August 22, 1954 in Newark, NJ, Annette was the daughter of the late Anthony and Viola (Forlini) Pajunas. A resident of East Stroudsburg since 1987, she and her devoted husband, Roger, were married for 33 years.
She lived each day fully to love and serve her beloved family and her faith. A devout Catholic who led by example and grace, Annette was a parishioner of the Church of St. Bernadette in Canadensis, where she served as Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She was also vested in the Scapular of the Carmelite order.
A graduate of Caldwell College, Annette specialized in Christian counseling.
In addition to her husband, Roger, she is survived by her dear children, Joshua, Daniel, Noelle and Nicholas, all at home; one sister, JoAnn Giacobbe and her husband Frank; two brothers, Anthony Pajunas and his wife Allison, Paul Pajunas and his wife, Mary Ellen; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends and her loving church community.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, route 940 in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz and the Reverend Father David Cramer will concelebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6 at the Church of St. Bernadette, route 390 in Canadensis. Burial will follow at the Canadensis United Methodist Cemetery in Canadensis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of St. Bernadette Capital Fund, 27 Fairview Avenue, Mt. Pocono, Pa. 18344
