Obituary of Susan Allen-Masterson

Susan Mary Allen-Masterson, 50, of Pocono Lake, died Sunday October 9 at Community Care Hospice at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Patricia (Cole) Allen of Brooklyn, NY and the late John Joseph Allen. Susan was employed as an advertising executive for the Journal Newspaper for 7 years. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiance Michael D' Ambrosio of Pocono Lake; 2 sons: Sean and Edward Masterson of Pocono Lake; 4 sisters: Patricia Warren of Los Angles, Ca, Barbara Galbo of Brooklyn, NY, Debbie Allen of Freeport, NY, and Andrea Allen of Brooklyn; 2 nieces and nephews and 2 cousins. There will viewings from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday October 11 at the Bolock Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. There will also be viewings from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday October 12 and Thursday October 13 at the Mc Laughlin & Sons Funeral Home, 9620 3rd Ave. Brooklyn, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 97th St. and 4th Ave. Brooklyn on Friday morning October 14th at 9:30 am. Interment will in St. Charles Cemetery, Brooklyn NY.
