Obituary of Scott McPherson

Scott J. McPherson, Jr., 17, of Cresco, died Sunday morning at home. Born in Niskayuna, NY, he was the son of Scott J. McPherson of Cresco and the late Linda (Liepins) McPherson. Scott was a junior at Pocono Mountain East High School, where he was a member of the Ski Club and the Track and Field Team. He was employed as a cashier at CVS Pharmacy in Mountainhome. In addition to his father Scott, he is survived by his sister Katherine Ricker and her husband Mitchell of Easton and his paternal grandparents Reuben and Arlene McPherson of Hillsborough, NJ. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Reverend John William Cherry will conduct a funeral service on Thursday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clover Hill Reformed Church, 890 Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery.
