Obituary of Sandra Ecker

Sandra (Guida) Ecker, 56, of Long Pond, entered Heaven on Saturday, December 27 at home. Born in Harrisburg on April 19, 1952, she was the beloved daughter of Samuel Guida of Bartonsville and Ruth (Billow) Guida of Cresco. Sandy attended Pocono Mt. Jointure, graduated from Pocono Central Catholic in 1970 and from The Stroudsburg School of Cosmetology. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and knew much about the Bible. Sandy was an extremely generous person and would help anyone in anyway that she could. She will be sorely missed. In addition to her parents, Sandy is survived by her fiance: Daniel McGuinness of Blakeslee; two sisters: Marjorie Beers of Swiftwater and Christine Tarnecky of Bartonsville; one brother: Andrew Guida and his wife Debi of Greentown; five nieces: Justine Beers, Melody Guida, Stephanie Guida, Nicole Tarnecky, and Emily Tarnecky; two nephews: Jordan Tarnecky and Elijah Beers. Reverend David Crosby will conduct a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Feed the Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101-0036.
