Obituary of Gloria Grlica

Gloria Grlica, 85, of Pocono Lake, (formerly of West Orange, NJ), passed away Thursday morning, November 13th at Geisinger Hospice in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She was the beloved wife for 59 years of Joseph P. Grlica. Born in New York, New York, she was predeceased by her parents Andrea and Nicolina D'Arino, her sisters Arminda Bondi and Edith Anderl, and her brother Armondo D'Arino. In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her devoted children, Joseph Grlica and his wife Linda of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, Gerard Grlica and his wife Betty of Pocono Lake, PA, Andrea Grlica of Pocono Lake, PA, Thomas Grlica and his wife Terry of Pocono Lake, PA, Paul Grlica and his wife Sonia of Blakeslee, PA, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. An active member of St. Mark's Church in Thornhurst, Gloria was also a member of the Arrowhead Seniors, the Pocono Mountain Women's Club, the Fairweather Seniors, and the Red Hat Society. The Reverend Father Jeffrey Paulish will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18th at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Thornhurst. There will be a visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
