Obituary of James McDonald

James J. McDonald, 69, formerly of the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia, died Saturday, September 17 at his home in the Poconos. He was the husband of Margaret (Kirkwood) McDonald. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Pauline (Kulda) McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a self-employed contractor in the Phiadelphia and surrounding areas for over 40 years before moving to the Poconos three years ago. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James McDonald and his wife, Joanna of Tobyhanna, David McDonald of Philadelphia; a daughter, Patricia McDonald of Bucks County; two brothers, William and Charles McDonald; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Timothy, and Christopher. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Monroe County, 502 Independence Rd., East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301
