Obituary of Stella Moyer

Stella P. Moyer, 79, of Pocono Lake, died August 29 at Wilkes-Barre VNA Hospice. She was the wife of the late James Moyer. Born in Tobyhanna, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Yakita) Fedish. She graduated from the Tobyhanna High School. Stella was employed as a waitress at the Pocono Manor Resort for 40 years prior to her retirement. She was of Catholic faith. She is survived by three sisters, Mary Figlock of Plains, Helen Mink of Frederick, Colorado, Katherine Nalewjak of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Smith, and two brothers, Charles Fedish and John Fedish. Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will conduct a blessing service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow the service. There will be a viewing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
