Obituary of Alexandria Robbins
Alexandria "Xandi" M. Robbins, 15, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Community Care Hospice in Dunmore after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Rahway, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Pamela (Jones) Robbins and the late Robert A. Robbins, Sr.
Alexandria was a ninth grade student at Pocono Mountain West Jr. High School, where she was a member of the Urbane Gospel Choir and the school chorus. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Deliverance Center in Bartonsville.
She was a loving and caring person who loved her teachers, school, friends, church, and especially her doctors and nurses at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. She sent a message of strength and courage as a fighter of cancer, appearing as a guest on a segment of the Montel Williams Show.
She is survived by her mother, Pamela Robbins of Tobyhanna; a brother, Robert Robbins, Jr. of Tobyhanna; a grandmother, Virginia Collier Jones of Monroe Township, New Jersey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Robbins, Sr.
The Reverend Dr. Kenneth L. Pearman and Pastor Theodora White will conduct a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7 at the Reaching Out for Jesus Christian Center, South Rt. 209 in Brodheadsville, Pa. There will be a viewing at the from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation services are entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
