Obituary of Dorothy Morris

Dorothy N. Morris, 84, of Bangor, formerly of Edison, NJ, and Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, October 1 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Patrick Henry Morris III, who passed away in 1992. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys (Scantlin) Nelsen. She resided in Edison, N.J. for 40 years before moving to Pennsylvania six years ago. She is survived by two sons, Patrick Morris IV of Alexander Arkansas, Robert Morris of Spencer, N.Y.; three daughters, Leah Wilcox of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Judith Travers of Bangor, Pa., Kathy Morris of Pocono Summit; a brother, David Nelsen of Jonesboro, Arkansas; a sister, Donna Rosenthal of Los Altos Hills, California; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Anita Jeanne Thompson, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the hospice or charity of choice in her name. Services will be private at a later time. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, Paradise Valley,Pa.
