Obituary of William Conroy

William E. Conroy, 55, of Canadensis, died Monday , December 13 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County. He was the husband of the late Ellen P. (Schwarzenbach) Conroy, who passed away in 2008. Born in East Rutherford, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Warren and Barbara (Burroughs) Conroy. Bill owned Conroy Trucking for 13 years. He then worked at Mitchell Supreme Trucking as a fleet manager until his illness. Bill was a member of St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. A loving and devoted father, Bill is survived by a son, Billy Conroy of Canadensis and his fiance, Bethany Gehres. He is also survived by a sister, Betty Seidler of East Brunswick, NJ and her husband Paul. There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Rt. 940 in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17 at St. Bernadette's Church, Rt. 390 in Canadensis. Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Monroe County, 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301
