Obituary of John Kainer

John E. Kainer, 58, of Tobyhanna, died on Monday, July 2 at Pocono Medical Center. He was the husband of Alice (Gress) Kainer to whom he was married for 34 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Charles and Madeline (Stein) Kainer. John was an avid fly fisherman. He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Carucci and her husband, Gregory of Gouldsboro, Jamie Villani of Tobyhanna; a son, John Charles Kainer of Tobyhanna; a sister, Catherine Nabozny of Michigan; two grandchildren, Allyson and Dylan; one niece, Jessica; and his beloved dog, Jake. There will be a viewing from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 on Thursday, July 5 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow.
