Obituary of Gertrude Czerniak

Gertrude R. Czerniak, 84, of Pocono Lake, died Friday, February 2 at East Mountain Health Care Center in Plains. She was the wife of Morris Czerniak of Pocono Lake. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Max and Sylvia (Poliakoff) Commer. She is survived by a son, Larry Czerniak of Pocono Lake; a daughter, Linda Gambino and her husband, Joseph of Pocono Lake; a brother, Robert Commer of Florida; a grandson; David Parisi and his wife Lauren, of Pocono Lake; and three great grandchildren, Lyntasha Neigel, Nicole Parisi, and Sabrina Parisi all of Pocono Lake; and several nieces and nephews. Rabbi Johanan Bickhardt will conduct a service at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, February 5 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 5:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 6 at 11:30a.m.
