Obituary of Richard Davis

Richard F. "Dickie" Davis, 82, of Paradise Township died Saturday, July 7th at home after an illness. Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Klein) Davis. He was honorably discharged from the 68th Signal Battalion of the U.S. Army on March 20, 1946. He was employed at Mt. Airy Lodge for 26 years and was well known throughout the Pocono Mountain area. He will be missed very much by all of his friends and family. Richard is survived by twelve children, twenty grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one sister. He was preceded in death by brother Donald and sister Margaret. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, July 11 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bolock Funeral Home, P.O. Box 763, Mt. Pocono, Pa 18344 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
