Obituary of Ida Lee Gaillard

Ida Lee Gaillard, 59, of Henryville, passed away on Tuesday, January 16 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was the wife of Ronald Gaillard, to whom she was married for 29 years. Born on March 11, 1947, in Santee, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Nolton and Bernice (Jefferson) Jamison. She was a graduate of Roberts High in Holly Hills, South Carolina. She had been a resident of Monroe County since 1980. She was employed at several resorts in the area before becoming a foster parent. In addition to her husband, Ronald, she is survived by a daughter, Deleah T. Gaillard of Henryville; a sister, Catherine Jamison of Norwalk, CT; adopted Grandson, Damien Adams of Pocono Summit; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Blondel Summers. There will be a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20 at the Lighthouse World Prayer Center, Route 940 in Paradise Valley. Pastor Charles Kollar will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation services are entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
