Obituary of Mary Rodak

Mary Rodak, 104, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Saturday, November 10 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late John Rodak. Born in Garfield, New Jersey, on February 26, 1903, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Julia (Kacsmarak) Mudrak. She worked in Garfield as a spooler in the wool industry for over forty years. Mary lived in the Poconos for twenty years. She had been a resident of Pleasant Valley Manor for the past four years, where she and her family were very pleased with the care that she was given. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Schaeffel and her husband, Henry of Tobyhanna; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment of ashes will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery. Cremation services entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
