Obituary of Catherine Danzo

Catherine A. (Granatelli) Danzo, 87, of Canadensis, died Tuesday, July 17 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in Smithfield Township. She was the widow of the late John Danzo. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Luke and Nancy (Cimilluca) Granatelli. She was a member of St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church in Canadensis. She was a devoted housewife and mother and a dotting grandmother. She is survived by one daughter: Diana Worley and her husband John of Canadensis; one sister: Frances Lotito of Marion, NC; and two grandchildren: Andrew and Sara Worley, both of Canadensis. In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by one son: Charles Danzo and one daughter: Patricia Danzo. There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 19 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father David Cramer will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 20 at 9:30 AM at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, route 390, Canadensis. Entombment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the VNA Hospice House, 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, Pa 18301.
