Obituary of Verbet Silva

Verbet "Betty" Silva, 43, of Bushkill, died Monday, April 19 while on vacation in Arizona. She was the wife of James Threats. Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of Robert Calabrese of Arizona and Gloria Silva of New York. In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her mother Gloria Silva of New York, her father, Robert Calabrese of Arizona and his wife, Linda; twelve children, Sylvia, Michael, Anthony, Margarita, Brandon, Liza, James, Michael, Giana, Tony, Ruben, and Kristina; four brothers, Ruben, Richie, Robert, and Luis; a sister, Gricel; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reverend Jesse and Mary Threats; and ten grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Jesse Threats will conduct a funeral service at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
