Obituary of Keith Overmyer

Keith A. Overmyer, 56, of Bartonsville, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 1 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was the husband of Arlene (Zibowich) Overmyer. Born in Harvey, IL, he was the son of the late Kenton and Kathleen (Greco) Overmyer. He attended the University of Alabama. Keith worked in sales for most of his career and was currently working for Allied Barton Security Service. In addition to his wife, Arlene, he is survived by a son, Keith Overmyer of Bartonsville; a daughter, Erica Overmyer of Bartonsville and her fiance, Brandon Allen; sister, Kim Walter of Palm Harbor, FL; mother-in-law, Wanda Zibowich of Secaucus, NJ; sister-in-law, Joan Russell and her husband, Kenny of Cliffwood, NJ; and a niece, Alison Walter. There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, Route 940 in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Blessing Service on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
