Obituary of Roseanne Nesterak

Roseanne Marie (Dougherty) Nesterak, 72, of Pocono Lake, died Wednesday, November 7 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Twp. She was the wife of William Nesterak. Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Peterson) Dougherty. Roseanne graduated in 1952 from St. Jerome's High School in Tamaqua. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Thornhurst. In addition to her husband, Roseanne is survived by two sons: James Michael Nesterak of Indialantic, Fl and Thomas William Nesterak of Charlotte, NC; three daughters: Janet Marie Volkman of Tucson, AZ, Lynn Ellen Tosso of Somerset, NJ and Jean Louise Nesterak of Home Valley, WA and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ann Little. Deacon David Bechtel will conduct a funeral service on Monday, November 12 at 11:00 am at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Peter and Paul's Lithuanian Cemetery in Tamaqua.
