Obituary of Robert Workman

Robert Lee Workman, 76, of Pocono Summit, died Tuesday, October 30 at Manor Care in Easton. He was the husband of the late Patsy Ann (Burger) Workman. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John Henry and Barbara (Workman) Henry. Robert retired as a supply clerk from the New Cumberland Army Depot in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Post 945 in Harrisburg. A veteran of the US Army, Robert served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Stansbery and her husband, John of Aurora, Colorado, Robyn Fortenbaugh and her husband Jack II of Pocono Summit; three grandchildren, Jack, Kurt, and Amanda Stansbery and Michelle Fortenbaugh, all of Colorado; and his first wife, Janet Smith of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Henry and a sister, Mary Miller. The Reverend Wayne Pratt will conduct a funeral service at 10:15 on Monday, November 5 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
