Obituary of William Hornby

William T. Hornby, 71, of Allentown, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem. Born in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Jetters) Hornby. Bill retired from Bell Telephone, after his employment in Union, New Jersey and Allentown. He was a graduate of Devory College in Chicago, Illinois. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by two brothers, John Hornby and his wife, Mary of Canadensis, and Louis Hornby of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Hornby. A Catholic Blessing Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Interment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg. There will be a viewing on Friday, February 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
