Obituary of Rose Tarantola

Rose Tarantola, 91, of Mt. Pocono, died Thursday, November 1 at Easton Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Tarantola. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Raphaela (Palumbo) Attianese. Rose attended Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church in Mt. Pocono. She is survived by a son, Joseph Tarantola and his wife, Kristen of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey; a daughter, Rina Hansen and her husband, Ronald of Cresco; a brother, Ernest Attianese of Toms River, NJ; a sister, Sophie Early of Belmar, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Glenn and Kimberly Hansen, Grace and Mia Tarantola; and one great grand child, Isabel Hansen. The Reverend Timothy Bertolet will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6 at the Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church. Interment will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery in Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
