Obituary of Anna Lynch
Anna M. Lynch, 100, of Appenzell, died peacefully surrounded by her family, on May 12, 2009. She was the wife of the late Daniel A. Lynch.
Born in Wilcox, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie (Feikles) Zimmerman.
Anna was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville and its Ladies Guild. She was also an honorary member of the Tannersville Senior Citizens Club.
Anna is survived by a son, James R. Lynch of Appenzell; four daughters, Grace Gulick of Toms River, NJ, Roberta Lynch of Brick, NJ, Arlene Bechtle and her husband, Joseph of Appenzell, and Noreen Stiso and her husband, Michael of Waynesboro, VA; daughter-in-law, Mary Lynch of Toms River, NJ; two sisters, Mary Farawell of Longs, SC and Frances Fiscus of Wilcox, PA; 34 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel A. Lynch, five brothers, Stephen, Andrew, Michael, Joseph, and Lawrence Zimmerman; and three sisters, Agnes Kanski, Susan Newman, and Helen Anderson.
There will be a viewing on Friday, May 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville.
