Obituary of Mary Pisko
Mary V. Pisko, 82, of Mt. Pocono, died Sunday, July 22 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Francis Pisko, Sr. to whom she was married for 58 years.
Born in Superior, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Felicia (Zadra) Delpero.
Before her retirement, Mary was employed as a seamstress at Palma Fashions in Tannersville. She then worked with her son, Butch at Pisko's Garden Center. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church.
Mary is survived by two sons, David Pisko of Orefield, Francis "Butch" Pisko, Jr. of Mt. Pocono; a daughter, Ann L. Provenzano of Chesterfield, VA; three grandchildren, Teara Pisko of Bethlehem, David Pisko, Jr. of Orefield, and Robyn and her fiance John Paul Montervino, and their son, Michael of Chesterfield. VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Delpero.
The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25 at Saint Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow the mass at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
