Obituary of James Moffett

James "Jay" Moffett, of Long Pond, formerly of Bucks County, died Friday evening, August 17 at home. He was the husband of Sandra (Crossley) Moffett. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Raymond and Harriet (Maher) Moffett. Jay was employed in Law Enforcement. He was a past member of the Bucks County Fire Police Association, a life member of William Penn Fire Company in Hulmeville and a current member of the East Stroudsburg Moose Lodge # 1336. In addition to his wife Sandy, Jay is survived by two sons: PFC Thomas Crossley, currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C. and A.J. Crossley of PA; two daughters: Karen Salladino and Patricia Corbett, both of Pa; five grandchildren: Ryan and Justin Salladino, Lance and Cole Corbett and Kaylee Crossley, all of Pa; one brother: Raymond Moffett of Fl. He was preceded in death by one brother: Thomas Moffett and an infant sister Elizabeth Moffett. Private service and cremation were entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
