Obituary of Thomas Blum

Thomas H. Blum, 32, of Blakeslee, died Saturday, October 28 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Raymond and Mary Egan of Blakeslee. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Blakeslee. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kendra; three step-children, Tabitha, Ariel, and Avery; a brother, Christopher Egan; three sisters, Lori Blum, Jeannie Egan, and Kristen Blum; maternal grandmother, Katherine Dorsey; paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Henry Blum; step-grandfather, Raymond J. Egan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Dorsey. The Reverend Wayne Kaufmann will conduct a funeral service at 12:00 on Wednesday, November 1 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corners of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Swiftwater. There will be a viewing from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
