Obituary of Richard White

Richard Curtis White, 58, of Tobyhanna, died on Friday, October 8 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Patricia (Cardona) White. Born in Staten Island, New York, he was the son of the late Samuel and Nina (Daniels) White . He was a 1971 graduate of Curtis High School, Staten Island, New York. Richard was employed as a truck driver for Ace Trucking, Inc. in Stroudsburg. He attended Pocono Community Church in Mt. Pocono. He loved to drive, shoot pool, grill and go to the shooting range. Richard also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by three sons, Christopher White, Stephen Lee Jones, and Marcus Allen Cardona; a daughter, Nina White; three brothers, Samuel, Michael, and Curtis White; one sister, Jewel White; and 10 grandchildren, Azarria, Yisenia, Anthony, Pedro, Javian, Arianna, Stephen Jr., Mia, Savannah, and Alesandra. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard White Jr. and Stephen Anthony White. There will be a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
