Obituary of Kim Healey

Kim C. Healey, 66, of Mt. Pocono, died Friday, October 8 at Mercy Hospice in Scranton. She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Healey. Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Helen (Rutherford) Calvin. Kim worked for the Allied Stores in New York as a secretary and buyer for 20 years. She retired in the 1980's to pursue other interests which lead her to become very active with the Pocono Art Guild. She was a gifted artist who enjoyed stained glass creations and most recently concentrated on embroidery. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13 at the Bolock Funeral Home , corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. The Reverend William A. Abrams will conduct a funeral service at 12:30 at the funeral home. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory in Cresco.
