Obituary of Kenneth Ashworth

Kenneth N. Ashworth, 52, of Pocono Summit, died Monday, October 2 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Noah and Evelyn (Horan) Ashworth. Kenneth was a retired policeman for the New York City Police Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking. He is survived by a son, Michael Ashworth of Staten Island, NY; three daughters, Heather Ashworth of Pocono Summit, Allison Ashworth of Staten Island, NY, Katlyn Ashworth of Sparta, NJ; a sister, Laura Meade of Manalapan, NJ; a special nephew, Michael Resseguie of Mount Olive, NJ; and several other nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Relatives and friends may gather from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
