Obituary of Eileen Davis

Eileen M. Davis, 52, of Pocono Lake, died Sunday, May 16 at home. She was the wife of Billy Davis, Sr. Born in Flushing, New York, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Barbara (Crowe) Purser. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Pocono Pines. In addition to her husband, Billy, she is survived by a son, Billy Davis Jr. of Pocono Lake; a daughter Kristine Davis also of Pocono Lake; three brothers, Michael Purser and his wife Sandra, of Bronx, New York, Kevin Purser of Elton, Kentucky, and Joseph Purser and his wife Jasmin, of Blakeslee. She was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Sylvander. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father John Boyle will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20 at St. Maximilian Kolbe in Pocono Pines. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, Bryant Street in Stroudsburg, Pa.
