Obituary of Vincent DeMilta

Vincent H. DeMilta, Sr., 70, of Canadensis, died Friday, September 24 at home. He was the husband of Pamela (Hedrick) DeMilta. Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of the late Biagio "Ben" and Lucia (LoFaso) DeMilta. Before his retirement, he was employed as a head pressman at Neff Lithography in Manhattan., New York. He was a United States Navy veteran. Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Pamela; three sons, Joseph DeMilta of Pottstown, Vincent DeMilta of Cresco, Christopher DeMilta of Stroudsburg; a daughter, Angela DeMilta Zenner of East Stroudsburg; two brothers, Paul DeMilta of Long Island, New York and Anthony DeMilta of Staten Island, New York; four grandsons; and 8 granddaughters. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28 at St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. Private burial with military honors will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pa.
