Obituary of Lorraine Edgley

Lorraine E. Edgley, 76, of Cresco, died Tuesday, August 30 at Gluco Lodge in Hamilton Township. She was the wife of the late John W. Edgley, to whom she was married for 52 years. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Argo and Florence (Leeming) Thompson. Before her retirement, Lorraine was employed as a transit supervisor for United Jersey Bank. Lorraine was an active member of Keokee Chapel Church, where she was also a member of the Willing Workers of Paradise Valley. She also volunteered for the Pocono Greyhound Adoption. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Francisco and her husband Robert, of Harrington Park, NJ; a son, Kevin Edgley of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Audrey Thompson of Cresco; a grandson, Robert Thompson Francisco; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, September 6 from 6:00 -8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road/Hwy 940 in Cresco. The Reverend Wayne Pratt will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Keokee Chapel in Paradise Valley. Private interment will take place on Thursday at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
