Obituary of Willard Comly

Willard T. Comly, 88, of Greentown, died Thursday, May 20 at home. Born in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Elwood and Bessie (Fetzer) Comly. Willard served in the U.S Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Post 245 in State College. Willard is survived by his brother: Gordon Comly and his wife Thelma of Zephyrshills, Fl; his sister: Helen Houser of Houston, Tx; his nephew with whom he resided: Russell Comly and his wife Francine; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Reuben, Charles, Harry, Le Roy, Blaine "Homer", and Chester Comly. Private Cremation was entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
