Obituary of Walter Miller

Walter Miller, 92, of Tobyhanna, died on September 5, 2011 at his home. He was born in Newark, NJ and retired as a custodian with the Archbishop in East Orange, NJ. Walter was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4159 in Tobyhanna. He was a kind and gentle soul who lived life to the fullest. He is survived by a niece, Susanne Lecca and her husband Donald of IL; a nephew, Ronnie Miller of NH; and his great friend, Margaret Matthews of Tobyhanna. He was preceded in death by a brother, Victor L. Miller, Sr. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial on Friday, September 9 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of The Mount Church, 27 Fairview Ave. Mt. Pocono. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 8 from 2-4 pm and from 6-8:30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. Burial will take place at Pocono Lake Cemetery.
