Obituary of Peter Lionetti

Peter Lionetti, 70, of Tannersville, died Wednesday, October 4 at home. He was the husband of the late Concetta (Dachille) Lionetti. Born in Bari, Italy, he was the son of the late Gerard and Mary Lionetti. Peter retired in 1999 after 18 years of employment as a truck mechanic for F&F Paving. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory, where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the sons of Italy. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Lionetti of Tannersville; two brothers, Domenic and Joseph Lionetti of Bari, Italy; four sisters, Minna Piccininni of Scranton, Pa., Anna Tarulli, Fran Savino, and Rosa Miraglia all of Bari, Italy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Concetta, who passed away in 2000. The Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville. Interment will follow at Tannersville Union Cemetery in Tannersville. There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
