Obituary of Robert Reinhardt

Robert F. Reinhardt, 82, of Mountainhome, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at home. He was the husband of Kathryn (Shaller) Reinhardt to whom he was married for 60 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late John A. and Louise (Peters) Reinhardt. In 1947, Bob and his brother, John A. Reinhardt, Jr., co-founded JA Reinhardt and Co, Inc. which they owned and operated for 50 years. The Reinhardt's grew the business into a leading supplier in the aero-space industry. Bob had a reputation of integrity in both the domestic and international industry. He was a member of the Mountainhome United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Kathryn, he is survived by three sons; Robert F. Reinhardt, Jr. and his wife, Jody of Paradise Township, Gary Reinhardt and his wife Daryl of Stroudsburg, Mark Reinhardt and his wife Susan of Mountainhome; a daughter, Donna Racher and her husband, Tim of Marietta, GA; a sister, Anne Grandis of Mountainhome; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Reinhardt, Jr. The Reverend Barbara Housley will conduct a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12 at the Mountainhome United Methodist Church. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
