Obituary of Mary Kulesa

Mary Ellen Kulesa, 47, of Price Township, died unexpectedly on August 7, 2010 at home. Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Mary Ellen moved to the Poconos 22 years ago. She was employed by Northampton Community College, Monroe Campus in the Science Department as a laboratory coordinator. In 2009, she was awarded the college's Spartan Award for outstanding performance. A graduate of Middlesex College, Mary Ellen was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor fraternity and upon commencement received the Frank Chambers Award for achieving a perfect Grade Point Average. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Bernard J. Kulesa, Jr. and Daniel S. Kulesa; her loving parents, Francis and Mary (Marken) Trickel of Price Township; her sister, Debra A. Trickel-Davey of Clarks Summit; and her godson and nephew, Matthew Davey of Clarks Summit. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 11 at St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. There will be a visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
