Obituary of Louis Corra

Louis M. Corra, Sr., 64, of Pocono Lake, died Sunday, September 3 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Gottlieb) Corra. Born in Revo, Italy, he was the son of the late John and Alfonsina (Flaim) Corra. Before his illness, Louis was employed by Paradise Stream Resort in Paradise Valley. He was a talented handyman who was called upon frequently by his friends and family to fix almost anything. He is survived by a son, Louis M. Corra, Jr. of Wilkes-Barre; three daughters, Deborah Crouch, and her husband Adam of Syracuse, New York, Peggy Coppola and her husband Adam, of Pocono Lake, Kristina Corra of Mt. Pocono; four brothers, Leno, Cinto, and Paul Corra of New Jersey, Carl Corra of Florida; three sisters, Rita Krokus of New Jersey, Mary Cardmil of New Jersey, Josephine Krokus of New York; seven grand-daughters, one grandson; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Charles, and one brother, Richard. A funeral service will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow. There will be a viewing from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
