Obituary of Joseph Morris

Joseph V. Morris, 73, of Canadensis, died Saturday, July 1 at home. He was the husband of Eileen (Motley) Morris. Born in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Walter and Madeline (Mueller) Morris. He was employed as a film/sound/electronic engineer. He was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Joseph served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Morris, Jr. and his wife Mary of Washington, NJ, Brian Morris and his wife, Tina of Carlisle, William Morris of Toms River, NJ; four daughters, Debra Weinschenk and her husband Robert of Pittstown, NJ, Kathleen Senk and her husband, Allen of Flemington, NJ, Eileen Ziobro and her husband, Michael of Cresco, Mary Walsh, and her husband James, of Warren, NJ; one brother, Walter Morris of Bronx, NY; one sister, Madeline Joan Boyle of Briarcliff Manor, NY; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The Reverend Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6 at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. Cremation will follow the mass. There will be a viewing from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
