Obituary of Christine Rada

Christine M. Rada, 42, of Mt. Pocono, died Friday, June 30 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was born on July 5, 1963 in Staten Island, New York. Christine was the co-owner of Chrissy's Youth Development Center for six years. Her children and her business were her main focus in life. She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Rada, Jr. of Mt. Pocono and his fiance Nicole Coghan, Anthony Rada of East Stroudsburg; a daughter, Shavon Bowden of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her fiance Michael Shook of Mt. Pocono; two brothers, Tony and John Benedetto of Staten Island; a sister, April Benedetto of Staten Island; and two grandchildren. The Reverend John Charnock will conduct a Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3 at the Bolock Funeral Home, routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Friends and relatives are invited to gather from 7:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
