Obituary of Thomas Dembinski

Thomas Dembinski, 54, of Blakeslee died Saturday July 8 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Cynthia (Saylor) DembinskiThey were married for 20 years. Born in Manhattan NY, he was the son of Paul and Patricia (Zierer) Dembinski of Paradise Valley. He grew up in Levittown and graduated from Bishop Egan High School and then attended Bucks County Community College. Thomas moved to the Pocono's in 1975, where he worked in Home Construction and as a Union Carpenter in the Newark, N.J. area. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, loved NASCAR, enjoyed cooking, and an avid fisherman. In addition to his wife and parents, Tom is survived by one son: Michael Dembinski of East Stroudsburg; two sisters: Margaret Carr and her husband Jeffrey of Cresco and Elizabeth Lloyd and her husband Robert of Yardley; three brothers: Richard and his wife Diane of Levittown, James and his wife Kathy of Stroudsburg, and Matthew and his wife Jeanette of Lake Harmony; Grandson: Dylan Dembinski of East Stroudsburg; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul. The Reverend Father Raymond Deviney will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday July 13 at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Church in Blakeslee. A private burial will take place at a later date. There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:30 PM on Wednesday July 12 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley and on Thursday, July 13 from 10:30 am to the time of Mass at the church.
